Moved to Early Adopter

• Send Bill attachments to Quickbooks Online: Our latest enhancement will allow bill attachments from Buildertrend to sync automatically with your QuickBooks Online account. Shortly following this release there will be a similar update for Xero accounts. Note: QuickBooks Desktop does not support this functionality.

Small software renovations in Early Adopter:

• Trash option added to Files: In our Files features (documents, photos and videos) we updated the Delete buttons to Send to Trash. Files that are sent to the new Trash folder will be kept there for 14 days before they’re deleted. You’ll be able to download files from Trash or delete them forever. Restoring deleted files is not an option. Note: Our mobile app still says Delete, but the trash action still exists. However, the option to access the Trash folder is web only.

• Search keywords in Chat: Users can now search Buildertrend Chat with keywords to quickly locate or reference conversations. Click on search results to see the keyword instance or scroll to the bottom to view the latest Chat entry.

• Easily import subcontractor or vendor lists: You can now import your own subcontractor or vendor lists through Settings. Note: We will be adding a mass-delete function with a future update.

• Recommended Schedule templates: When you start a new job from scratch, you’ll now see template suggestions in the Schedule tool based on Job Type selected in Job Details.
