Buildertrend updates: Week of Feb. 20

Specifications feature now available!

We added a Specifications feature to our Complete Package to help you keep projects moving. Specifications are linked to Bids to help align expectations when it comes to scope of work, materials, installation methods and the quality of craftsmanship needed to complete projects.

What else went live?

Since last Friday we’ve also released:

• Get Schedule confirmations from active and inactive subs | Inactive subs can now receive and respond to Schedule confirmation requests. We’ve provided a more efficient way for builders to request confirmations from subcontractors – regardless of the sub’s status in Buildertrend. We’ve also made it easier for subs to send responses.

• Add and edit schedule items from Bids, in real time | When a Bid is awarded, you can now generate schedule items for the new work and assign the subcontractor to those items. Additionally, this can now be done without leaving the screen you’re currently on.
