Recently Launched

The following small software renovations are now available:

• Improved mobile photo uploading and viewing: On your Buildertrend mobile app we refined the photo selection process, making it faster and easier for you to choose photos and upload. There’s also a new Open/Edit photo screen that allows you to quickly view, draw, edit and delete.

• Easily mass delete contacts: You can now delete contacts in bulk from your Contact List editor. There’s also clearer messaging on contacts that failed to import correctly when uploading Excel files with multiple contacts.

In Progress

• We’re introducing a new Job Costing Budget experience that allows you to analyze the profit impacts of realized labor, scope changes and unexpected expenses, in real time.

• The following small software renovations are now in progress:

  • Single-select Cost Types: To support adding default markups or margins as well as future updates to defaults on Cost Types, we’re removing the multi-select option from Cost Types line items. Cost Types will be single-select options only.

  • Mark line items as Bids or Allowances: To support adding default markups or margins as well as future updates to defaults on Cost Types, we’re removing Bids and Allowances from the Cost Types section of line items. Bids and Allowances will now have a Mark As option. This won’t affect the functionality to easily pull Cost Type line items into Bids or Allowances.

  • Consolidate Time Clock line items on Owner Invoices: As a follow-up to our recent release, creating Owner Invoices from Time Clock, we’re introducing the ability to stack line items that share the same cost code. This quick consolidation will make it easier for homeowners to review their invoices.
