What's new?

Beginning in early Q1 2025, new jobs will only have access to the Job Costing Budget.

Based on customer feedback from hundreds of builders, we're making changes to increase the confidence you have in effectively managing your job financials. To do that, we had to create a new budget that lays the correct foundation based on industry standards and best practices.

The Job Costing Budget, released in Spring 2024, provides optimal cost analysis with consistent job cost and project pricing across the platform, standalone columns and superior visibility into the related items.

You can easily see your remaining expenses and how invoicing ties to cost codes, which provides better insight into the financial health of each project – at every step. Plus, it provides improved clarity for clients, especially on open book projects.

With this release in early 2025, new jobs created will only have access to the Job Costing Budget. Old jobs will still have access to the legacy Budget.

While the legacy Budget will be available on previously created jobs for the time being, users should expect to begin referencing the Job Costing Budget.

Note: Beginning October 23, 2024, new Advanced and Complete accounts did not have the legacy Budget. You only received access to the Job Costing Budget. Welcome to Buildertrend and enjoy our superior budgeting experience!
