      What’s new?

      We now have a better way for you to present and receive homeowner approvals for optional scopes of work on job proposals.

      You can clearly communicate and differentiate the core scope of work on a project and optional scopes without using proposal notes, selections, change orders or multiple proposals.

      Updates include:

      • Clearly display optional scopes: On estimates, you can mark groups as Optional. This will make it clear to homeowners which items are the core scope of work, and which are optional.

      • Builders can approve or decline optional scopes: You have the ability to physically approve or decline scope options, which will update the builder-facing project cost and price totals.

      • Client option approvals: Homeowners have the ability to approve or decline scope options, which will then update the owner-facing project cost and price totals.

      • Homeowners can 'favorite' optional scopes: Homeowners can now star options on their Job Proposals. Selecting the star icon next to Job Proposal options will result in a favorite subtotal at the bottom of the proposal and add to the total proposal price. Proposals cannot be approved with starred options, all options must eventually be approved or declined.

      • Updated Budget and Estimate worksheets: Once optional scopes are approved or declined and the overall proposal scope is approved, your Budget and Estimate worksheets will reflect line items and job cost totals.

       

      Note: Lead Proposals (on the Sales side of the platform) will not receive these functionality changes.
