Adjust projected costs in the Job Costing Budget
What's new?
The Projected Costs column in the Job Costing Budget takes the highest of revised, committed and actual costs, less any builder variances, to give you the most updated forecast of expected expenditure.
Now, users with edit or delete Job Costing Budget permissions can adjust the projected cost column for any cost code and manually increase or decrease the projected value.
This will help you maintain an accurate forecast of projected costs before associated bills or other documentation have been entered in Buildertrend.
This update eliminates (and improves upon) the current practices of using the Revised Cost Worksheet for tracking expected changes to estimated costs when there’s no other documentation like a Bill. Keep your estimating in Estimates and your budgeting in the Job Costing Budget.
