Recently Launched

  • Send Bill Attachments to Quickbooks Online: Our latest enhancement allows Bill Attachments from Buildertrend to sync automatically with your QuickBooks Online account. Shortly following this release there will be a similar update for Xero accounts. Note: QuickBooks Desktop does not support this functionality.

Small software renovations for May:

  • Trash option added to Files: In our Files features (documents, photos and videos, we updated the Delete buttons to Send to Trash. Files that are sent to the new Trash folder will be kept there for 14 days before they’re deleted. You’ll be able to download files from Trash or delete them forever. Restoring deleted files is not an option. Note: At this time, our mobile app will still say Delete, however files will go to the Trash folder. Access to the Trash Folder on the mobile app may be added in the future, however, at this time, it’s web only.

  • Search keywords in Buildertrend Chat: Users can now search Chat with keywords to quickly locate and reference conversations. Click on search results to see the keyword occurrence or scroll to the bottom to view the latest Chat entry.

  • Easily import subcontractor or vendor lists: You can now import your own subcontractor or vendor lists through Settings. Note: We’ll be adding a mass-delete function in a future update.

  • Recommended Schedule templates: When you start a new job from scratch, you’ll now see template suggestions based on Job Type within the Schedule feature.

  • Quickly add Cost Catalog items to Estimates: You can now search for and add Cost Catalog items directly in an Estimate’s line-item containers.

  • Set a default margin or markup by Cost Type: To help provide more control over your project profitability we're adding the ability to set a default markup or margin by Cost Type (e.g., labor, material, equipment, subcontractor rate, etc.), for line items on Estimates and Change Orders. There are three changes in this release, view this roadmap card to learn more.
