Multiple homeowner approvals on Job Proposals

You can now request and capture multiple signatures on Job Proposals, helping you maintain a complete record for each project and adding more protection for both you and your clients. Visit this Help Center article for more information.

Set a default margin or markup by Cost Type

To help provide more control over your project profitability, you can now set a default markup or margin by Cost Type (i.e. labor, material, equipment, subcontractor rate, etc.) and apply it to newly created Estimate and Change Order line items. Visit this Help Center article for more information.

Small software renovations for June:

• Send Owner Invoice attachments to QuickBooks Online and Xero: We created the option to automatically sync Owner Invoice attachments from Buildertrend with QuickBooks Online and Xero. This eliminates the need for you to manually upload invoice images or documents to the corresponding invoices in your accounting platform.

• Sync Bill unit costs and quantities to QuickBooks Online and Xero: Unit costs and item quantities now sync from Bills in Buildertrend to QuickBooks Online and Xero, which ensures unit costs and quantities are consistent across all platforms.

• An interactive grid for Cost Codes: In Company Settings, we updated the Cost Codes feature to be an interactive grid. This will allow you to quickly add or edit Cost Codes, clearly see active or inactive code statuses and easily toggle between Cost Codes and Variances.
