Chat is now available!

Buildertrend Chat makes it easier than ever to instantly communicate with your teammates, active subcontractors and homeowners. This new feature is available on both desktop and mobile, so you can communicate efficiently from wherever you’re at.

What else went live?

  • Job Costing Budget: We have a new Job Costing Budget experience that allows you to analyze the profit impacts of realized labor, scope changes and unexpected expenses in real time.

  • View QuickBooks vendor credits in the Budget: Vendor credits have been added to the Budget to help improve actual cost tracking for Buildertrend accounts connected to QuickBooks.

  • Invoice Quickbooks Costs from Buildertrend: All QuickBooks Costs can now be pulled into Owner Invoices. This allows you to invoice QuickBooks expenses, bills, checks and vendor costs from Buildertrend.

The following small software renovations are now live:

  • Consolidate Time Clock line items on Owner Invoices: As a follow-up to the recent release, creating Owner Invoices from Time Clock, you now have the ability to stack line items that share the same cost code. This consolidation makes it easier for homeowners to review their invoices.

  • Set job-level margin or markup from Estimates: There’s a new % button on the Estimate toolbar that allows you to set a job-level margin or markup default percentage from the Estimate page.

  • Recommended templates: You can now access the Recommended Templates tab where you can find all Buildertrend’s most-used job templates.

  • Import tags on leads: When importing your leads from Excel you can now also import your tags.
