Dec 5-9 Product Updates: Taxes on Estimates moved to In Progress

This week we moved Applying tax to Lead Proposals and Estimates to 'In Progress'. This is the third iteration of our Tax functionality, all of which are in the development stage. As a reminder, the first version of this release will be Taxes on Owner Invoices, and the second will be applying tax to Change Orders, Credit Memos and Selections.

For this release, Lead Proposals and Estimates will have a section for applying a sales tax rate or group. This will include the automated local tax, imported from Quickbooks Online.

Only the Invoice itself will sync with QuickBooks, but by including real tax information (in Buildertrend) prior to the Invoice, you and your clients will have more accurate prices and costs, throughout the process.
