Small software renovations: April

STAGE: 🚀 Recently Launched

At Buildertrend, we care about your feedback. Below are some of the items we recently launched that’ll impact several of our most-used features. These customer-driven updates will help improve your workflows and make your day run smoother.

Financial updates

  • Job Costing Budget updates:

    1. Progress bars: We added two progress bars to the top of the Job Costing Budget, giving users a view of high-level insights for overall job cost performance with total project costs and total invoices.

    2. Revised vs. Projected Cost columns: We added a column to the Job Costing Budget that allows builders to compare their revised and projected costs. This will help you quickly assess if on-the-job costs are trending positively or negatively.

    3. Custom column views: Users can now customize the Job Costing Budget by hiding or displaying specific columns, and easily saving preferred views.

  • Time Clock invoicing updates:

    • Correctly displayed line-item quantities in Invoices: We updated the unit cost and hours quantities to properly calculate totals when pulling from Bills or Time Clock shifts to an Owner Invoice – instead of displaying the quantity of one.

    • Un-stack time shifts on Invoices: Builders can now un-stack the consolidated Time Clock line items on an Owner Invoice, breaking out the individual line items of time shifts.

Project Management updates

  • Improved Schedule phase usability: Builders can now order or reorder Schedule phases using a drag and drop feature.
