What's new?

To create a more natural workflow and industry-familiar financial experience, we’re removing PO Payments within Buildertrend. Expenses will now be managed solely through the Bills feature.

Currently, PO Payments and Bills serve the same purpose of tracking expenses in Buildertrend. Having two features for sending payments can create confusion. With the update, Purchase Orders will simply be the contract between a builder and their sub or vendor.

The Bills feature is where builders will send payments to their subs or vendors, as well as apply payments to purchase orders. We will introduce a bulk action to bill for the remaining amount on a Purchase Order.

This update should create an organized experience for office managers, accountants, bookkeepers and project managers as they track finances and PO changes.
